Party In The Vines - Village People & The Beatgirls They helped define a pop era, and they are back!

Hot on the heels of a sold out Hollies concert earlier this year, Ascension Wine Estate is bringing the Village People to Auckland early in 2012 for 'Party in the Vines'.

The Village People have sold over 100 million records and still retain most of the original and early lineups performing their disco and dance hits, including the trademark "Macho Man", "Go West", the classic club medley of "San Francisco (You've Got Me) / In Hollywood (Everybody is a Star)", "In the Navy", "Can't Stop the Music", and their biggest hit, "Y.M.C.A.".

Supporting the 70's and 80's superstars are the Beatgirls who will kick things off with their own energetic, fully choreographed and costumed show featuring hits from the 60's to the 00's by everyone from The Beatles and Abba.

Guests are welcome to pack and bring their own picnic baskets - although these must not include alcohol or glass.

Important Parking Information

There are no car parking facilities at Ascension. FREE SHUTTLES will leave from the following locations where there is plenty of parking - outside Mahurangi College (follow signs), Omaha Beach Surf Club (stopping outside Matakana School) or Snells Beach Community Centre, taking you straight to Ascension. The shuttle buses will operate from 5pm to 7pm and from 10pm. Our neighbour across the road will be offering $5 parking (subject to weather).
