Serj Tankian is returning to New Zealand with System Of A Down to play one New Zealand show in February 2012.

We've all heard the rumours and can now confirm that the monumental band will be playing for the first time in New Zealand after taking a six year break which ended last year.

Serj Tankian holds NZ residency and regularly lives on our shores, so fans have been waiting patiently for the four to return with their sound.

System Of A Down are one of the few bands who can create rock anthems that stick with their listeners years on. Their energy, intensity and progressive sound guarantee an unforgettable night for fans.

There’s only one System Of A Down and they’re here for one night only (with support from The Dillinger Escape Plan) at The Trusts Stadium in Auckland on the 22nd of February 2012.

Tickets will be on sale from TicketDirect (0800 4 TICKET) from the 23rd of January at 9am.
