Ranui Community Centre
he Ranui Community House hosts a fun, friendly farmers' market every Friday evening from 3.30pm to 6.30pm in winter and 3.30pm to 7.30pm in the summer.
Friday 11th March we are fund-raising for the quake relief. Donations to be collected on behalf of the Red Cross. All stalls will donate a percentage of profits: the market will donate 20% of fees collected and the cafe will donate 10% of coffee sales.
Selections of affordable organics, the cheapest and freshest of veggies and seasonal fruit, fish, angus beef, cheeses, artisan breads, salt-cured preservative-free artisan salamis, meats and small goods, jams, pickles, preserves, artisan chocolates, sweets, baking, mini doughnuts, bagels, olive oils and olives, dips and desserts, baking, Maori bread and much more.
Dinner offerings of mussel fritters, burgers, Turkish bourac, mousaka, burgers, and the Tea Tree Cafe for great coffee and organic and vegetarian snacks.
Gelato (Italian ice-cream) and real old fashioned shakes, sodas, juices, wholesale flowers, occasionally a bouncy castle in the summer and some stalls that are run by very small producers and may not be there each week..
The healthy, fresh alternative for your grocery shopping. We encourage people to recycle, bring reusable bags (available at the market) and take public transport or walk to the market.
