The Christmas Lights idea at MOTAT is a good one. You can visit the Victorian village part of the complex between 8pm and 11pm each Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the moment, and it is all lit up for Christmas. You can buy Christmas treats like mulled wine and baking, and take a tram ride around to the Zoo, which is really exciting for the kids in the dark! I thought there could have been a couple more activites for the kids, as it didn't take long at all to see everything, and also the tram could have been decorated a little.

Great place to take the kids, well priced and always something new on!! Love the fact that let rate payers in free every now and then!!!
