I loved the ATC production of Lord of the Flies. It's a classic story that is still so relevant. It was refreshing to see such a wonderful young cast, all really talented and well suited to their parts. The set is amazing, as is the sound and lighting, and I couldn't take my eyes off the stage for a second!

A Midsummer Nights Dream is the latest production from the Auckland Theatre Company, and once again they do not disappoint. The story is well acted and the lines well spoken, and the modern costumes, music and lighting great. The physical parts such as the fights between the lovers and Bottom's play are fantastic, and Raymond Hawthorne is a unique and amazing Puck!

This is a fantastic show that had us laughing out loud most of the time! It is very well done with a great cast that all fit perfectly in their roles, lots of kiwiana and camping memories and a cute set. There is a lot of swearing and sexual references which some people might not like, but it's all in context and just hilarious. Highly recommended!
