Madang Hannuri - ‘Madang’means "a place" and ‘Hannuri’ means ‘whole world’ in Korean. The aim of this group is to promote Korean culture in NZ, and provide a place for all to enjoy their music no matter where they are from. PERFORMANCE: Madang Hannuri performance will be based on the rhythms of traditional Korean folk percussion music, characterised by strong, accented rhythms. Come an experience this dynamic art form and performance! WORKSHOP: The group will take the audience through a history of Korean Traditional music and will show how to play the instruments.
