Tournament History

France relishes Rugby World Cup tournaments, with 1991 being the only year the tricolours missed out on a semi-final or better spot. Twice the bridesmaid and never the bride, Frances' greatest World Cup was the innaugural 1987 tournament where they lost in the final to a rampant All Blacks side.

Worryingly for the other teams. France always seems to rise to the challenge as soon as they have passed through New Zealand border controls - and off the back of their recent Six Nations form, expect good things from this French Test team.
