I was really impressed with this place.
My only regret was that we arrived late in the day and only had one hour to take it all in. Next time I will allow 3.
There are areas of the trail where you just want to stand and absorb the surrounding bush etc.
Certainly worth putting on the things to do list in the area.

I'm a big fan of outdoors art and thought the offering at Brick Bay was pretty damn good - the trail is very well laid out and easy to follow - though we took a pushchair which it wasn't really suited for.

The Brick Bay sculpture park in Snells Beach is amazing - the art there, even though 25% not to my taste, blew me away. Such a stunning location for a sculpture park and by far the best one in Auckland. The cafe is pretty good as well though it only serves cold platters - but with a glass of their wine it was thoroughly enjoyable and definitely recommended.
