Big Day Out 2012 Line Up Rumours

For more information on Big Day Out 2012, including the official line up click here.

Believe it or not the 2012 Big Day Out will be the 20th year of the music festival and we hear it could be even bigger than ever before. BDO staffers have been spotted traversing the globe tracking down the world's biggest musical acts for Big Day Out 2012. While there have been no Big Day Out 2012 lineup announcements we've complied a list of possible artists based on internet chatter, industry rumours and, we'll be honest, our hopes and dreams. Take a look and let us know what you think.

DEBUNKED

Beyonce - Another strange rumour floating around the internet was that Beyonce would be heading down under for Big Day Out, however B's recently announced pregnancy quashed any hopes of her showing.

Bjork - Having played Big Day Out before Bjork is reportedly giving up festivals in favour of her own shows where she can have greater creative control over the experience.

Blink 182 - It has been reported Blink 182 are definitely out as drummer Travis Barker isn't keen on the long flight down here after he was involved in a plane crash in 2008.

CSS - Unfortunately there's no hopes for CSS at BDO because they've signed on to play at Aussie's The Falls Festival over New Years

Eminem - Believe it or not rumours were rife that BDO organisers were after Eminem himself. It was thought Slim was a done deal until he announced a headlining Australia tour.

Incubus - Incubus were rumoured for Big Day Out 2012 until they announced a February 2012 Australian Tour.
