Treat the special ladies in your life to a vintage day out at MOTAT this Mother’s Day. Let the Museum take you back in time to the post-war baby boom days of the 1950s when Elvis ruled the pop charts and Marilyn Monroe was the brightest star in show business. Relax and enjoy the music as live bands serenade visitors with tunes from the era which brought us doo-wop and the jitter bug.

While the music is on, why don't we arm you with moves so that you can head out on the floor and dance to your favourite Rock ‘n’ Roll tunes with our City of Sails Rock 'n' Roll dance lessons.

Feeling peckish? Sit back, relax and enjoy our warm hospitality and delicious variety of High Tea classics. Sip on a cup of fine French teas while savouring delicately made finger sandwiches, scones and mini sweet treats. Served traditionally on a tiered cake stand with your choice of hot tea or coffee.

Think big hair and even bigger circle skirts with ballerina slippers as we continue to set the mood with vintage stalls, car displays, hair and makeup pampering by The Beauty School Dropouts, photo booths, fashion shows, pop-up performances and more!
