I love comedy but it sounds like you, I hate being singled out...I nearly got the shock of my life when I was called up stage at last years Heath Franklin Chopper show...very tough!!!

this place has changed hands quite a bit over the last few years but really hope Catroux Cafe hangs around a whole lot longer. The lemon-curd cakes are really awesome, and coupled with a People's Coffee, just about the perfect meal! Well done Catroux and good luck!

Have to say I agree with Jono's review of SPQR - yes, it's tossy (probably one of the snobbiest places in Auckland) but that's what sets it aside and I guess is one of the reasons it has been operating succesfully on the Ponsonby strip for so many years now.
