Zarbo

Zarbo was once a four to five star locality. The decline is notable as is the absence of newspapers. The present 'expansion" into the range of foods now advertised in the cafe indicates even more a move away form personal service to a larger and more impersonal one.
Zarbo, on Morrow Street in Newmarket, is not only a Newmarket gem but quite simply the best Deli / Cafe in Auckland. I know sometimes there is queue, but if you're serving up the best choice of divine deli food then you'd expect to queue.
Zarbo is definitely a place to go, especially if shopping in Newmarket.
Sometimes, when I walk into Zarbo in Newmarket and there's a massive queue, I'm tempted to back out and check out some other cafe. But, at Zarbo, you're pretty much guaranteed a decent coffee and deli style meal -- and on the whole, your order will arrive promptly, no matter how full the place is.
