The question isn't Y Not? It is WHY???? We unfortunately had a well below average experience, and the worst thing is we took visitors from overseas there - how embarrassing! We were seated and watered for an early dinner - our waitress seemed overwhelmed with the busy section and we waited quite a while to get drinks let alone order our meals. The menu is EXTENSIVE! We should have remembered Gordon Ramsay's advice, 'The longer the menu, the poorer the quality.'The food was terrible; firstly the pizza was soggy as the base was doughy and undercooked. The Hawaiian topping was pathetic. Dad ordered the chicken soup... soup?? More like gloop!! We honestly cannot believe it even left the kitchen. It was luke warm, clumpy and to top it off, it was sour!! A complete disgrace. We told the waitress who wasn't in any mood to be dealing with sour soup.. but she took it back to the kitchen and agreed that it was well past it's due date. We didn't dare order anything else to replace it. When we went to the counter to pay, they told us they wouldn't charge us for our drinks (a beer and a coke)- but still wanted us to pay for the soup!!?! Well, that just sums it all up doesn't it.If it were free, we wouldn't go back.

Had lunch at Y Not Restaurant in the Viaduct over the weekend - nice and sunny (and not too cold) but was a little disappointed at the service. Weren't overly busy but quite difficult to get waiters attention. Food was ok but nothing that stood up and said 'wow'! Will give Y Not a try again though.

Y Not Bar & Cafe is located at the back of the Viaduct. It was very quiet when i went to the restaurant. mMst of people were in Euro(bar/restaurant). So i tried garlic bread as an entree. It was quite nice and not like ordinary garlic bread:)

I tried beef steak - it was large and very juicy (it was medium). It doesn't serve with chips - lots of salad and mashed potato on top of steak ... and pasta was just great!!

The price was really good ($20-35) - it was really well priced and food was worth for the money!! So Y-not try??:)
