Love the atmosphere at Vauxhall - it's a locals cafe but the staff are incredibly friendly (to all) and when you combine that with the coffee and a pretty extensive food offering, Vauxhall is a keeper.
The artwork is also worth a mention - some pretty cool stuff!

good cafe near the beach... there will now be a toss up between the great coffee at Vauxhall and the french treats at pyrenees across the road...decisions decisions!

The Vauxhall is a really great example of a cool local cafe. Funky furniture, a minimalistic menu and excellent coffee is what makes it so popular with the locals. I can't go by anything that includes the fruit compote. Great sarnies and baking. The Vauxhall gets my vote for the pick of Devonport cafes.
