I've been coming to Torpedo Bay Cafe for a few years now and it has always been consistently good. The eggs are some of the best in town (especially the fully stacked omelette) and coffee very good. If you feel like a day out, head over to Devonport, take in the Navy Museum and a hike up North Head and finish it off by re-charging at Torpedo Bay Cafe - recommended!

Quite possibly, Torpedo Bay Cafe is home to Auckland's best omelette! These bad boys are the business - taking up pretty much the whole plate and chock-a-block full of ingredients, a good choice in my books. It's also a good setting and if you've got time, head into the Navy museum as it's a bit of a hidden gem.

Torpedo Bay Cafe is a real gem. Took my niece here on a hot summers arvo this week and the food and service was great and the setting couldn't be any better.
My recommendation would be to grab an ice-cream - the good stuff (Kapiti) and probably the most generous serves in Auckland.
There's also a nautical-themed playground out the from of Torpedo Bay to district them for a while - do it!

We took our little person to check out the Devonport Navy museum and found Torpedo Bay Cafe!
Great food, stunning views and the perfect spot to amuse the little folk for a while and eat decent food in the sun.
