Quite possibly, Torpedo Bay Cafe is home to Auckland's best omelette! These bad boys are the business - taking up pretty much the whole plate and chock-a-block full of ingredients, a good choice in my books. It's also a good setting and if you've got time, head into the Navy museum as it's a bit of a hidden gem.

Torpedo Bay Cafe is a real gem. Took my niece here on a hot summers arvo this week and the food and service was great and the setting couldn't be any better.
My recommendation would be to grab an ice-cream - the good stuff (Kapiti) and probably the most generous serves in Auckland.
There's also a nautical-themed playground out the from of Torpedo Bay to district them for a while - do it!

We took our little person to check out the Devonport Navy museum and found Torpedo Bay Cafe!
Great food, stunning views and the perfect spot to amuse the little folk for a while and eat decent food in the sun.
