Just ate here today for the first time. I have been craving a crepe for weeks and spotted Torchon while heading to the Auckland City Market. I loved the quaint atmosphere and the authentic preparation style and French employees. I ordered the lemon and sugar crepe. It was prepared extremely well and quickly. The wait staff is courteous, though very busy. The food was delicious. I wanted to lick the plate clean. Who knew ingredients as basic as eggs, flour, sugar, and lemon juice could become such a spectacular treat?! I highly recommend Torchon. The only negative comment I have is that you may have to wait a bit to order as it is a very popular place and quite small.

If you have an hour to wait to be served and dont mind paying $17 for a pancake and $10 for an average glass of wine then this is the place for you! I cant say what the quality of the food is because, after an hour wait we gave up and went eleswhere.

A friend took me to Torcheon for their raclette evening one Thursday...being a HUGE cheese lover I couldn't believe this little gem had never been revealed to me before! A plate of cold deli meats, pickles, cheeses and hot baked potato's were presented to us...melting the cheese under the grill was great fun and absolutely delicious! At only $39.50 for two you can't argue with the price, either...totally recommend it..you will not regret visiting the cute Elliott Stables but DO make sure you book!

Had the tartiflette dinner party yesterday with some friends and i never been that disappointed.

Waiters never smiled, The charcuterie plate was small, and the ham slimmy.

the whole lot for 45 dollars.... come on get realistic.
