Just a update I always lunch here and my husband and I plus our two sons are eating in here tonight. I come here a lot with my girl friends for lunch it is our local happy spot.We have been eating here for awhile now. We booked in for dinner and I'm so happy to say the dessert is gorgeous it is cookies @ cream cheesecake oohhh yummy. We fully recommend to everyone here in Waiuku and all who come to our friendly town.
"The food is so good I can't wait until we come tonight"

I have been going to the Wolf and Beaver for their "two mains for the price of one" regularly and been very happy with the quality of the food and service from the staff.

Even when I haven't booked and have been told it may be a long wait it has only ever taken a pint to get a table, and not too long for the food to come out once seated.

my wife and i had a sunday beer and wine lunch here today 18/7/10 . We were totally disappointed . I ordered a Rump steak eggs and chips she a fish and chips both with salad $17, this took 40mins not only were the chips luke warm (i informed the duty mngr asked for more this time, but hot ) . . the rump pieces were the most pitiful pieces of steak i had ever seen. Her battered fish was warm aswell and it looked like a frozen piece from a box, not good.
I like too cook and i guesstimate i could have russeled the meals up for $5 a piece.
My wife and i like to dine out for dates etc we do like to put our hard earn money into the local economy of our town and we have been to the wolf and beaver before and no disappointments then which is why we went back, but this experience will make us stay away for good.
