Use to come to the Williamson alot as is our local, but got very dissapointed with the same old cabinet food every day for years. Never anything new, so just got bored with it. Girl who use to make coffee was amazing, but she seems to have gone. Coffee is terrible now.

Food servings were generous, big breakfast went down well with my husband, but found the french toast and pancakes breakfasts too sweet as they were soaked in berry compote - probably better to have been served on the side. Coffee was good. Decor upstairs at The Williamson leaves a lot to be desired given that its such a cool old building - cheap trestle style tables with spares folded up and leaning against one wall, and distinct lack of art work - would be an awesome place for local budding artists to display their work for sale. Toilets could have been a little cleaner. A (forgotten?)side of hash browns arrived just as we were about to leave and were dripping in oil but kids ate them regardless. Overall an enjoyable brunch, and fairly good service. Would definitely return to The Williamson if discounted vouchers come up again.

The food at The Williamson is great - especially the pies and mashed potato! The counter food is pretty good and so is the coffee. I've found the owner to be very helpful - but some of the staff are a bit dozy. If The Williamson seems busy remember to check upstairs for more seating!
