The Library offers a relaxed atmosphere and as the name suggests, lots of books around. Food-wise, I would recommend the Grilled Lamb Cutlets with Minted Pea Puree - very nice!
great small place downtown. Had been to the wellington version of the library bar and good to see just as enjoyable auckland version cropping up! Auckland needs innovative bars like this!
What an awesome spot - hard to believe a place like this exists in the Viaduct! I had been to the library bar in Wellington and enjoyed it so really pleased to see an Auckland version start up.
Already one of my favourite Auckland haunts! Friends had told me about the Library bar and the awesome tapas menu so trooped off their after work on Tuesday.
Setting is really relaxed and welcoming which isn't what you usually get around this part of town, and despite being quite small, it was really pleasing to see that people aren't packed in like sardines.
The tapas menu deserves some pretty special praise = the crumbed goats cheese balls and the squid are very moorish - you've been warned! Taking the work guys down to The Library Bar tonight so let's hope I have a similarly great experience.
