The Governor Information

With a minimalist approach to crafting simply great food through the use of fresh, organic, locally sourced produce, the Governor is a home away from home. Hospitality and service with a warm smile are to be expected.

A modern day spin on classic café food, the Governor will always have something just a little bit different to get your taste buds going.

For those times you just need to get out of the office, we have a conference room available for booking that seats up to 20 guests. And, If you really fall in love with our food (which we know you will) we also offer “out” catering for all types of events.

Had a last minute opportunity for a quick Valentine's Day lunch without the kids on Sunday, so headed up to Jervois Road, where we stumbled across Governors. We were welcomed in by a lovely man (tall and fair) who then continued to offer fantastic service throughout the meal. Coffee was great, granola and accompaniments delicious, and the poached eggs with Freedom Farms champagne ham near perfect. Only problem we had was that we both fancied a smoothie, but they had run out by lunchtime. Will definitely be back.
