The Culpeper Information

So this is exactly what you think of when you think of The Culpeper. It’s light and bright until night and then it’s bright and light until later.

It’s about relaxing; hanging with a bunch of friends or the good crew from the office. It’s ‘grab some lunch’ but with a hazy plan about what’s on this afternoon; it’s a cocktail or two after five and a totally easy dinner kind of thing.

We’re right on the water’s edge so you know it’s going to be ‘at ease’. Our owner thinks we’re here to celebrate food, fun and friends; we think we’re here for a good time (and a long time)…

Remember every good time is made up of moments. At The Culpeper, making the most of the moment is up to you.

What an awesome place! Very up-market/American style with a wide variety of menu options. We had the Tuna Poke for entree and it was by far the best tuna dish I have ever had! Generous size too for an entree! We also tried one of their brisket rolls which was again nothing short of amazing.

It was really hard to chose a main with so many great things to pick, but we decided on a sharing platter of meats with fries/salad/potato buns. The sharing platter was $65 per person and was huge! There was so much meat and we liked the variety. All very tasty and cooked perfectly. Brisket was my personal fave. Could not finish the whole thing between us.

The layout of the restaurant is really nice and I can imagine it being extremely popular in summer being that it is right on the viaduct with a great view of the water and boats etc.

Staff were all great. Very attentive and helpful without being in your face.
I will definitely be back to try more on the menu - hopefully will have room for dessert next time!
