The Brewers Co-operative Information
Set up in 2015, The Brewers Co-operative is a freehouse promoting beer brewed by NZ Craft Brewers. Focus is on pure craft beer (rather than mainstream brews) and although the styles of beer on offer from the 24 pouring taps may often stay the same, the flavours and tastes are continually changing. Some of the Craft Breweries that we promote (but are not limited to) include Good George, Garage Project, Epic, and Liberty.
The Brewers Co-op kitchen provides fashionably inexpensive, yet good quality food- with an emphasis on Fish and Chips – hence the name ‘Hashery’. A full menu is also available and customers can opt to eat in or have their food prepared to takeaway. Much like and old school fish and chip shop with the added option to ‘have a beer’ while they wait or unwrap and eat at a table once their order is served.
The Brewers Co-operative is all about old fashioned values and simplicity, without the pomp and fuss of a fine dining eatery.
The Brewers Co-operative staff are passionate about, and have had their own experience with, craft beer, giving them the ability to provide customers (whether they are craft newbies or experienced swillers) new information and tasting experiences during their visit.
