If you are ever out and about in East Auckland - then this little gem is worth popping into! In the humble village of Howick the Apothecary Cafe spills out onto the path with a welcoming atmosphere. Today it was humming as I took my seat outside to browse through the brunch menu – it has all your favorites from Eggs Benedict, Vege Mash Up and Buttermilk Pancakes. I decided to stick to what I know and love best and choose good ol' Eggs Benedict with Bacon and it didn’t fail by any note, the presentation matched the taste and I was deeply satisfied. I highly recommend this café which also from what I was told by friendly staff turns into a great local for friends to enjoy a glass or two at night!

Always a great outing at the apothecary. Friendly and well trained staff and it is not uncommon for the owners to stop by the table to say hello and mingle with the customers. Food is amazing and the atmosphere is second to none. Just what auckland needs. Cheers guys!
