I just love hanging out at Takapuna Bar watching the world go by, nice wine selection and thanks to the staff for stating those heaters up.

What a great bar to stop into, we go to the T bar when ever we are in Auckland, great friendly staff, quick service, great wine list and lovley food, just a stroll to do shopping as well. Love the fire place too, its always burning in winter, with lovley atmosphere. My favourite Auckland bar!

Cool bar to chill out at. Everytime I've been there it hasn't been to full and was easy to get a drink.

I have been to the Takapuna bar many times and I have always had a great time. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great and its nice to be in a bar in Takapuna that isn't filled with 18 year old kids!! Takapuna Bar has now become one of my favourite bars.

I have been to the Takapuna bar several times and I love it. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is great. Its not a 'rugby thug bar' like some in Takapuna, its just a funky bar with a funky attitude and its nice to see a bar in this location actually survive for more than a few months!!

The Takapuna Bar is a good place to go if you don't want to be surrounded by 18-year-olds. It definitely attracts a more mature crowd than other bars in Takapuna. Sport is a dominant feature, but it's not a rowdy sports bar. The wine list and beers available were satisfactory and all in all, I had an enjoyable time there.
