I hadn't been to Superette for donkeys but the missus dragged me along because they had a sale on....and jeez, these guys are on to a winner. The women can shop while the boys relax - perfect.
Anyway, have to say I was disappointed with the food (the beef wrap had one tiny strip of beef), yet the coffee was all good.
What does make me laugh is the middle aged, overweight blokes trying to recapture their youth by popping on a $400 pair of jeans!
Superette is much more than meets the eye. Superette doubles as a cool cafe and designer clothing store. It's a great little lunchtime cafe with loads of yummy homemade treats and while you're waiting for your food you can browse the stylish clothes for sale.
Superette has delicious vege lasagne and great risotto cakes. The coffee is very good and the setting trendy, but without being pretencious. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. And, if you go on the right day they may have a big British bull dog cruising out front - v cool!!
