Worse bar ever. We bought a spreets deal for dinner for two at Suite Bar - have gone in 3 times to use it. Each time they had run out of pizza bases or had already served too many people on the deal to accomodate us. Now my voucher is expired and I have wasted $30. Not impressed.
Very upmarket establishment, small in size, so good if you like very private cocktails, or bottle of wine perhaps. When I was there allot of people were actually eating which I was unaware that this place was a restaurant too, but none the less the food smelled great so must remember to have a meal next time.
Went here when they introduced their $10 lunch menu. However most of the dishes on the menu weren't being served that day, and they also gave us only one menu to share between 5 people which was weird. Food was average, took quite a while to arrive and the portions were rather small. The waiter was very friendly though. Probably a better place for drinks at night.
A++ absolutely lovely evening a while back. really nice nibbles and it was tough work dragging hubby away from the bar- ive never seen so many beers in my life! Its just a really classy spot. I cant wait to get back there with the girls for a night out!
It is ironic that, in a town where so many bars are pretentious with little justification, one bar which could justify 'attitude' is friendly, down to earth and welcoming. Clean, well thought out and executed surroundings, staff that know their stuff, and cocktails to die for. Quiet from 11pm to 3 am, but that just means you have the excellent bartenders' full attention. Oh, and they do espresso. Genius.
I've only been in the country for less than three weeks and already think I've found my favourite! Can't say I had any negative experiences at all in the three times I've visited Suite so far.

If you haven't been - do make sure you pay Suite a visit (but leave room for me!)
Usually we would go in and flirt and joke around with Tim and Chris (bartenders) now there is a chick working there who looks like she needs a hug. The other loud annoying chick rarly smiles and hates serving chicks?? what is going on??
Suite is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy after work drinks... great ambience, fantastic staff who are incredibly accomodating, and an amazing drink selection - a huge range of beer, extensive wine list, and delicious cocktails!
