Great food, good service. I had the scallop main and it was huge!
Nice place but could be better with table service
Have been to Squid Row a few times and had Mussels, Calamari & Chips, Salt & Pepper Squid
Pluses:– All seafood is very fresh– Szechwan pepper and salt flake on Salt & Pepper Squid is yummy!
Minuses:– You have to get out of your seat and walk to the bar to order drinks and food even though waiters were free- Salad is too small
Interesting:- Each visit we would have spent another $30 on drinks if they would have taken our order at our table
Verdict: – We will go back again
TRYING TO GET SOMEONE AT THE BAR TO SERVE YOU IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE!Staff at the bar are too busy looking at the floor and not interested in taking orders. It took longer to place our orders even though there was only a few people then it took for our food to come out.Food at Squid Row was pretty good and came out really quick.Bar staff will force this business to close, unless something is done.
Wnet to Squid Row tonite for a nice meal and a wine on the way home from a long week at work .I had the John dory on a lime and rocket risotto the 2 boys I was with had the fish and chips the food was exceptional!!!!
I would recomend to anyone and the two boys really enjoyed their meals as well.
My friend & I checked out Squid Row one Sunday evening recently & absolutely loved it. We both adore seafood & this is quite the restaurant to go to if you do to. Service was impeccable & fast. Our waitress was very forthcoming on informing us of all there was to know about the menu items & the food was delicious. We both shared the bucket of prawns & I had the Calamari & my friend had the salt and pepper squid. Really good dining experience & we'll definitely be back to Squid Row for more.
We went to Squid Row for a quiet drink the other night. It was a miserable cold night, so I was very pleased to find loads of heaters pumped up to full. Aside from the heat, Squid Row has a lot to offer. A delicious seafood menu - great fish and chips, a decent wine list and classy surroundings. A quick drink turned into four or five, we didn't want to leave the warmth and great atmosphere. I will be sure to return.
A few friends and I met up at Squid Row the other night to kick into a big night. I'd heard a lot about the place since it opened and was really pleased we went. Great food (we shared the bowl of mussels, calamari and all sorts of goodies), good wine and a great atmosphere!
