beautiful place.really is the secret garden, hidden beauty in south auckland.food on the other hand was disappointing.
It's like stepping into Thailand! Amazing ambiance, food is nice - not the best Thai but still a great meal. The banquet is the way to go. Fantastic prices and great hosts. Perfect for a romantic dinner or for a group booking. I loved it and want to take my friends back!

Spectacular atmosphere and nice food.
However, it is not designed for couples as you have to order a set buffet menu and they are not flexible when you ask to make it smaller!
who would have thought in the middle of Otahuhu.lol this restaurant is Fabulous, service is friendly and very nice, food is very good too, quite filling even with the set menu, and i can't forget the decor, it's so beautiful, i feel like I'm in the Thailand/islands, so nice in summer when sitting outside, i really Love the bar too, just the set up of it is great. been 2-3times now and can't wait to go back at the end of the month. this is a great place for a surprise first date/anniversary/birthday etc:
Spectacular atmosphere and delicious food. The staff were friendly and helpful and delightful to deal with. Secret Thai Garden is such a gorgeous restaurant, wonderful atmosphere, but do dress warm in colder times as much of it is outdoors.

Great place, great atmosphere. Recommend to others but if dining in winter make sure you wear warm clothing. Menu is limited in choices but food is lovely.
I've been back to Secret Thai Garden many times and just love the rustic festive feel with all the nooks and piles of fairy lights. The food is simple, but always good and it's a great place for a group.
This is an absolutely fantastic place.
It's like entering another world in the middle of Otahuhu. Service is great and friendly and the food is wonderful.
Extra special as the owner hand built most of it himself.
