Very disappointed at the baked eggs... Rock hard over cooked and the creamed spinach was hard to find. Was jealous of my friends breakfast which was a decent size(the potato hash with hollandaise) and i left feeling hungry. Was tough to get a waitresses attention to heat up my baby's food so ended up feeding it to her cold to avoid a meltdown. Only real positives from Savour and Devour are that the Coffee was good and it is in a good location. Will probably not return to Savour and Devour but at least if I do I'll know not to order the baked eggs.

After the perfect mocha and some great cake, I can definitely see why you guys rate Savour and Devour as one of the top 5 cafes in Auckland. This is without doubt Grey Lynn's best cafe and is a must visit!

We had a very pleasant evening at Savour and Devour last Friday night. The staff were friendly, the food arrived on time and was very tasty. A place were you can go and enjoy the company of your fellow diners without yelling or listening into the next tables conversation. We will be back - next time during the day.

I went last month to Savour and Devour with some friends for breakfast. The coffee was barely warm, the staff were unfriendly and the loos looked like they needed a good clean. Needless to say, I won't be going back again.

Savour and Devour is another place with sour staff. Is it asking too much for cafe workers to offer a smile once in a while??

We went there the other day and were served horrible cold coffees. OK - not too big a deal until we asked for them to be redone. Then we got the sullen, grumpy stares and comments under the breath.

Give us a break and either make decent coffee or at least deal with the attitude.

I love the food at Savour & Devour. Their filled foccacias are just delicious, and the sweets are amazing - particularly the ginger crunch and the chocolate brownies.

The only downside is that it gets so busy at lunch times, and you have to queue up to place your order (no table service), so it can be quite a while before you eat... but I think the food is worth the wait - I'll be back there again soon!

We've been twice for brunch. The first time I loved my food: potato rosti with salmon—all good, but we all had the same complaint … the bread!!!

Why burn/cook it to the point where it's so hard you would cause serious damage by a) cutting it and b) eating it.

Second time round we had the baked eggs, quite a ‘different’ experience and I'm all for new things, but I found this oily and the eggs over cooked.

But the strange thing is I'll go back again. There's something very appealing about the style here, the food is slightly different and challenges the average brunch. Service is good, although table service for extra coffees wouldn't go amiss. Out back in the covered courtyard is good.
