the pizza slices are huge and cheap. Great selection of drinks. Highly recommend for a cheap and yummy snack.

People have been raving to us about Sal's Authentic New York Pizza, so with a store opening in Henderson we decided to try it out.

We did an online order - ordering a Pepperoni pizza, and a Chicken pizza, it pays to read the menu properly because the chicken pizza had chunky fresh cut tomato all over it, so no one would touch it... big $34 error!! The Pizza's were massive and the Pepperoni one was tasty.

We splurged and tried all the available extras - chicken wings, garlic knot and pepperoni wheel but being up front and honest I wouldn't rush back to Sal's. I personally was disappointed, but if you lower your expectations you might not be.

Sal's has been recommended to me a few times and after reading the review on here I decided to grab a takeaway pizza. The shop looks like what I imagine a New York pizza diner to look like. A guy greeted me as I approached the counter, he was very friendly and helped me to chose which pizza to get. He did tell me the pizza was huge, it was HUGE! I am not even the biggest fan of pizza but this was amazing pizza! My partner loved it also. We were unable to finish even half of it, one slice was a struggle for me. I would definitely go back :)

My husband picked up some takeway pizzas on the way home from work tonight. I had bought a GrabOne voucher for Sal's so it was great value at $30 for two pizzas. They were huge and delicious as usual, but I did think there was alot less pepperoni on than there used to be, and even the kids noticed! The meatball pizza was more popular this time.

Met up with friends at Sal's Pizza in Takapuna last night. the place was heaving (seemed to be short staffed) but once the food arrived it was great. the pepperoni pizza is the best in town and the knots are also pretty tasty. Good to see sal's on the shore too - no more hell pizza for me im afraid!

With Sal's NY Pizza now on the shore I think my life is now complete! Great dine in atmosphere that Sal's has been synonomous with and the pizzas that our family have come to love - I'm trying to get the boss to shout Sal's pizzas on a weekly basis! Excellent job guys - best of luck!
