Casita Miro Information
Most guests say this is the best Spanish Tapas restaurant they have been to and some who say this have travelled extensively in Spain. The venue is al fresco with stunning views over
the vineyard and the sea.
Casita Miro, Waiheke, also has a play area for children amongst the olive groves.

While staying with family for a few nights on Waiheke Island, we discovered Casita Miro. Walking distance from our holiday home, it provided the perfect solution when we went in search an afternoon drink on a beautiful January day. Our group of girls chose a lovely, shady spot on the bank outside - they have these cute little ground-level tables that poke out from the bank, creating a flat surface to put your drinks on, and the view of the surrounding vines and olive trees is gorgeous. I enjoyed a very nice rose, and we shared some green olives and bread with two dips which were both delicious. The food was a bit on the pricey side, but when you are on holiday and in such beautiful surroundings you can forgive that!
We visited Casita Miro for a birthday on the long weekend. They were incredibly obliging (even letting us order Tapas instead of the Set Menu even though we had a large group). The staff were friendly, giving us hats to wear and sunscreen to put on, and we had a little area all to ourselves. The views are stunning and the food was to die for. Can highly recommend the Rose and Sangria also! Would definitely go back - the only downside is the food is rather pricey for what you get, but not doing the set menu definitely made it more affordable. I would definitely return.
What a remarkable setting in Waiheke. My dad celebrated his 50th at Casita Miro and I have to say, no element of the experience could be improved upon. The setting will inspire you to uplift and move to Waiheke and the food and service, well they'll only serve to keep you coming back to Casita Miro. Thanks guys
Casita Miro is reason enough for visiting Waiheke Island. Up there with the best tapas I've had in this country, Casita Miro's excellent, knowledgeable staff are also one of its highlights.
Planning our next visit to Waiheke Island in a few weeks - I think Casita Miro will be on that 'to-do' list for some reason.
