Try the steak sandwich at Plume - well worth the drive to Matakana for that alone! I've since been back to Plume the vineyard restaurant since december last year and that dish is my 'go-to'. Setting is nice and relaxed too.

In Warkworth for the day during the week and had heard some really good things about Plume the vineyard restaurant from a local client so thought we'd give it a go while in the area.
I had the steak - lovely and tender and simply melt in mouth stuff and my partner tried the three cheese souffle - wouldnt have gone for it myself but she said it was great.
Finished off with churros - they are reason enough to head back to plume the vineyard restaurant!
