Had an early morning coffee (and associated fluffies) at Paper Moon cafe in the albany mall and just had to comment on how friendly the staff were.
Kids loved their frog-faced fluffies and the allpress coffee was just what the doctor ordered.
Much better off dining here than in the food court!
Could Paper Moon be a contender for one of the shore's best medium-priced restaurants.
We've dined at Paper Moon before and had a similar, very satisfying experience - the eye fillets that my partner and I had just couldn't be beaten....very moreish indeed!
Went for dinner at Paper Moon last night before catching a movie screening at the mall.
Fairly busy night but staff were very friendly (esp. Maitre'd) and the food was good - we went for two items off the blackboard specials of the day - the Hapuka with tiger prawns and the fish and chips. Both very nice and reasonable sized portions and with a glass of wine each, I thought walking away with a bill of $70 was pretty good - there's not a lot on offer at the mall past 7 but the Paper Moon would be a good choice!
Easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend the mocha.
Although it easily merges into the food hall area of the Westfield Shopping Centre in Albany, Paper Moon is a cut above the normal dross served elsewhere. It's a bit small but the amiable service, if a little slow, and great food made up for having to wait a little while for a table. Definitely recommended.
