The Nosh restaurant and Cafe in Glen Innis has suddenly declined in 2011. Previously, the condiments were first class. Now the jam and marmalade served is poor. In addition, the butter has ceased being served in pats and is now a sticky and oily combination lacking taste.
All of the above mentioned items used to be served in ceramic containers. The Glen Innis Nosh now uses very tiny plastic cops.
A similar policy of using disposable cups has equally been introduced with regard to water. Earlier, glass cups were used.
I should state that the other restaurant Nosh on Dominion Road in Mt Eden remains first class. None of the above changes, put into action (close to the end of 2010 and at the beginning of 2011), will be found there.
As a result, the Glen Innis Nosh food is poorer than the Dominion Road one. Simply taste the butter in both stores!
In sum: the Glen Innis Nosh has declined in a significant manner whereas the other one in Mt Eden has remained consistent with its previous excellent food practices.
It is worthwhile to compare both places.
