Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar is a great little find in the middle of the city - had to queue to get in (a sign of a good place, surely!!??!!) but was well worth the wait. The mocca was the best I have ever had, definitely need some extra seats. Enjoyed watching them making fresh cookies while we were waiting. Excellent!

Not open Sundays! :(

Small place but yummy stuff, be prepared to pay top dollar for a single cookie. Cant sit down really inside.

It was a cool little place! The cookies were amazing. I also had a hot chocolate along with my work mates and were all found that they could be a little hotter. Mind you it tasted amazing. They maybe could put some seats outside. Good luck with the business!

Oh this place is so exciting. So well branded and designed, cookies are DELICIOUS and love the chocolate moustache in my mocha! Staff were lovely. Moustache was packed because it's just so small, but just proves how wonderful a place it is!

What a brilliant, well-executed idea!! Moustache is one of those places that the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome and just can't stop looking around at how incredibly thought out and genuine the whole experience is. It is an experience! It's wholesome, feel-good, and the staff are extremely friendly. Delicious cookies! And the Whittaker's Hot Chocolate melts in your mouth!! Definitely going to be a regular customer.

Absolutely amazing!!!Everything about Moustache is like a wonderland of childhood memories.Interior is fabulously well thought out and simply beautiful.Best tasting hand made cookies around and the hot chocolate is to die for. Would happily wait in line any day to get the great food and even better friendly service. Can't fault a single thing. Will absolutely be back for great food and to support very hard working staff. Go small kiwi businesses :)

Popped into moustache before work today and was totally worth it!

Had the cookies and cream milkshake which was really good! (Not surprising as I later discovered they used Kohu road) Along with a cinnamon cookie. Cookie had that perfect cookie texture too not too crunchy and soft on the inside..

Service was great. Considering it was the morning rush the girl behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Will be back for a coffee and more cookies later in the week no doubt!

i was really looking forward to going to moustache, especially because that is about the only bar i can go. i am 38 weeks pregnant!
so, i finally made my way there this arvo (the place smells amazing) and soon came the disappointment: they have 3 bar stools that were taken. i asked the lady behind the counter if those were the only seats, she said yes and i said nicely:' i can stand up so i have to go'. she just said: 'sorry' (but she didn't seem to be sorry. she was busy carrying on with the conversation she was having with the people sat on the bar stools).
how can a new business let customers walk out?
she didn't even try to say something like: 'let me see if i have a spare chair at the back' (even if she didn't have one) or something...
either they are already rolling in cash, so don't need more customers, or they are not fans of pregnant women...
i was not impressed and am not going back for the lack for customer service.

Cristina, I'm really truly sorry about this. We are a very tiny space & can only squeeze in 3 seats & unfortunately 3 people were already in those seats - at the time I didn't feel it was my place to tell those people to leave but now thinking back, perhaps I should have done that. When I said "sorry" you were already walking out the door & if you had taken the time to look at my face you would have seen how pained I was & trying to think of a solution without also offending the 3 patrons already sitting down eating, had I told them to leave so that a seat would be available for you. In saying this, I never ever ever want to make my customers feel this way so please feel free to come back and have a cookie and any drink of your choice for free. - Report

Well that was a really rude comment, a bit unnecessary, if your a 38 weeks pregnant, maybe you should go to a bigger place where the location is larger like McDonald's..etc. Moustache Milk and Cookie Bar is not your typical large area, they are cute and small. I'm sorry, but you shouldnt complain about the size! Its a little boutique, not a mass company, and its what makes them quite special and different! The place is amazing. And also they are the nicest staff I have come across even though they were extremely busy today, the line was literally going out the door and yet they were so polite! I adore this place, and the cookies and milkshake are to dieeee for! Great Job guys! So impressed! - Report

Judging by the abundance of people saying what amazing customer service this place has you are clearly just painfully difficult. Especially after reading their lovely reply to your nasty comment.

Have you considered that it would have been far worse customer service to kick out the three patrons already seated? If you felt so hard done by maybe you should have asked one of them for their seat yourself.

I don't know many places who would be too worried about having someone like you walk out and never come back anyway. - Report
