Metro Restaurant of the Year Awards 2011

Central Auckland fine-dining restaurant The Grove has been judged Auckland’s best in the Metro Audi Restaurant of the Year Awards 2011. The Grove takes the Supreme title ahead of the ever popular French Cafe and the hip new Japanese restaurant, Cocoro.

Metro’s restaurant awards are the longest-running in Auckland. Most of the restaurants on the list were visited twice and some three times.

Best Upmarket Bistro: The Engine Room

Best Casual Dining: Coco's Cantina

Best Italian: Non Solo Pizza

Best Value For Money: Thymes Tables

Best New Restaurant: Cocoro

Best Auckland Rural Restaurant & Auckland Restaurant Personality of the Year 2011: Casita Miro
