Metro Peugeot Restaurant Of The Year 2019

Metro Peugeot Restaurant Of The Year 2019

Parnell eatery Pasture has taken out the accolade of Metro Peugeot Restaurant of the Year 2019 with its owner Ed Verner also taking out the coveted Best Chef title.

Pasture, Parnell

The comfortable, contemporary design of this six-seat restaurant with detailed service complement a menu of quality fresh New Zealand produce and an enviable drinks list that belies the restaurants’ size. Pasture also took out the Best Fine-Dining category in what was a huge night for Ed Verner and the team, also taking out the best-dish gong for their Aged New Zealand Wagyu & AC/DC and running up in the Best Drinks category.

Other notable achievements this year include the rise and rise of Cazador, with the eatery claiming Best Neighborhood Bistro (and runner up for the second year in a row for the supreme prize) and in a new category for 2019, Amano won the Best All-day Restaurant award with head chef (Jo Pearson) also coming runner up for the Best Chef award.

The full list of winners and hat ratings are published in the May issue of Metro Magazine, on sale now.
