This is a great place if you want simple food and large portions. It's a bit like Lone Star cuisine-wise but there you pay $30+ for what is $20 or less here. If you want a good 'man feed' go for the steak served on bread (half a loaf!) with mushrooms, egg, tomatoes, onion and chips. Fantastic.
melting pot is a brilliant place for sure. after shopping in hurstmere make sure you drop in to the melting pot. one word great!
After doing some shopping on Hurstmere Rd in Takapuna, we dropped into the Melting Pot for a much needed late lunch. It's always been a place that we've walked past and never tried. We checked the menu out and thought why not, the food was well priced with a great selection. When it arrived it looked lovely, and we weren't disappointed with the taste either. I also had the best iced chocolate that I have ever had. Nice friendly service, we will go back to the Melting Pot for sure.
