Great Food, Friendly Staff, Excellent Value
This place is one of the strangest cafes I've been to. I'm writing this review because yesterday was the second day I went there, and I observed huge staff quarrel for the second time! The 'boss' gets out of his mind almost every 10 minutes, and start to say nonsense to his staff, and you as a customer will share all the nonsense with the workers there.
If you want a peaceful and fun place to eat in, this place is not good.
This is the most horrific experience i have ever had in my entire life. There are two bad experiences that i feel need to be shared with the public of Auckland! I went here on Friday night with friends and family - the waitress, was obviously drunk as she was speaking extremely loud and obnoxiously, tripping over and wobbling on her feet - to not only us but other customers. She spilled my coffee all over the table and then wiped it up with a paper napkin and left me with half a cup of cold disgusting coffee. The cake she served was vile, it must have been sitting in the showing window way past its expiry date... the second experience was this last Saturday when a friend and i were on the look out for a nice dinner and Sheesha (flavoured tobacco) - a warning to women, if you are not dressed ina cleavage revealing top then dont bother coming here and asking for Sheesha you WILL be denied by the guy behind the counter. He was not even polite just said no and pretty much told us to leave by motioning his hands in the direction of the door, i wanted to speak to his manager, but thought that it would just be the same response. A couple of minutes later when we went past after trying to look for another turkish cafe we saw a table of scantily clad girls waiting for their dinner and Sheesha... Needless to say i will never go here again, the service is disgraceful and although i have had a good kebab there once before the coffee and cake has a lot to be desired for - If you head down the road a tad you will find TOP TOP Kebab - the service here is great, friendly and relaxing atmosphere these guys go out of their way to help you out
