This place is one of the strangest cafes I've been to. I'm writing this review because yesterday was the second day I went there, and I observed huge staff quarrel for the second time! The 'boss' gets out of his mind almost every 10 minutes, and start to say nonsense to his staff, and you as a customer will share all the nonsense with the workers there.

If you want a peaceful and fun place to eat in, this place is not good.

I have to say i have very different view from last comment I believe everybody in town like little Turkish cafe it has been there for ages and quiet identical (if you are Aucklanders you know already) i use to go there with my friends after work and we always had great time there with experiencing different cultural staff like shisha, Turkish foods and strong coffee like Turkish coffee. now at least once a week i go there with my partner she also addicted to their foods especially fresh Turkish bread just come out from wood fire oven with combination of chicken souvlaki kebab, or chicken salad , hummus dip, "perfect" that is what she use to said. We had try many food around of queen st or k'rd but i do believe it little Turkish cafe is the busiest and the best, warm friendly atmosphere, no wonder why few years on the roll they getting Metro best of Auckland - Report

This is the most horrific experience i have ever had in my entire life. There are two bad experiences that i feel need to be shared with the public of Auckland! I went here on Friday night with friends and family - the waitress, was obviously drunk as she was speaking extremely loud and obnoxiously, tripping over and wobbling on her feet - to not only us but other customers. She spilled my coffee all over the table and then wiped it up with a paper napkin and left me with half a cup of cold disgusting coffee. The cake she served was vile, it must have been sitting in the showing window way past its expiry date... the second experience was this last Saturday when a friend and i were on the look out for a nice dinner and Sheesha (flavoured tobacco) - a warning to women, if you are not dressed ina cleavage revealing top then dont bother coming here and asking for Sheesha you WILL be denied by the guy behind the counter. He was not even polite just said no and pretty much told us to leave by motioning his hands in the direction of the door, i wanted to speak to his manager, but thought that it would just be the same response. A couple of minutes later when we went past after trying to look for another turkish cafe we saw a table of scantily clad girls waiting for their dinner and Sheesha... Needless to say i will never go here again, the service is disgraceful and although i have had a good kebab there once before the coffee and cake has a lot to be desired for - If you head down the road a tad you will find TOP TOP Kebab - the service here is great, friendly and relaxing atmosphere these guys go out of their way to help you out

"The service HERE is great" ?! surely you mean there... not here. "Here" as in, "here is my cafe just down the street that has inferior food and here I am trying to discredit a turkish cafe that is a hundered times better than my own" That Kind of "here"?

I have been going to this cafe for a number of years and never have I NEVER witnessed anything close to what you are describing. To anyone who has ever eaten at this cafe you will know for yourself that this persons review is utter tommyrot.
Nice try. - Report
