My husband and I popped in to La Cocotte for brunch over the weekend and we were not disappointed. The biggest challenge for us was deciding what we wanted to eat – we could quite happily have gone with anything on their menu. My husband went with the Oceane Crepe and I eventually decided on the Savoyarde Crepe. Delish! Our meals were very filling and left us utterly satisfied.
Reasons to visit La Cocotte: friendly relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful service with a smile, good coffee and great food! I am confident all tastes will be catered to and they are happy to tailor their crepes as well. We will definitely be going back. Nice one La Cocotte!
La Cocotte is a new french cafe in Grey Lynn, specialising in crepes. I met a friend there for morning tea the other day and tried my favourite - lemon and sugar. It was delicious. They also have savoury flavours and a selection of counter foods eg pastries, macarons and quiches, and the baguette I bought to take home was good too. The NZ/French owners have recently returned from France, where they also worked in hospitality. They are really friendly and welcoming. My kids love crepes so I will definitely return to treat them sometime soon.
