Is this the worst place on Parnell Rd? We were "greeted" by incredibly rude and off-hand staff, then showed into a grossly overheated and overcrowded room. The menu was incredibly disappointing - by then we'd lost our appetite so walked out without ordering.
Absolutely fantastic evening. The service and the atmosphere were great. Our meals were delicious, portions generous and the deserts superb. Would highly recommend.

very dissapointing meal
The only bubbbles they had was lindaur fraise the other 2 on menu were not available we which was a bad start , we were celebrating our wedding anniversary so when the lindaur fraise arrived and was flat it was no fun!
the entree was also dissapointing as was described as a mesculin salad with crayfish but was just a limp fancy lettuce and crayfish. mains was the lamb shanks they were overly salty so much so that I could not eat when we mentioned this on our way out, as we decided not to chance pudding! the manager jut raised his eyebrow and said no one else had complained

La Bocca on Parnell Road is an average cafe / restaurant. The service was quick to take our order, but it took 30 mins to get our coffee which arrived 10 minutes after they served our food - it wasn't even particularly busy.
