visited quite a few indian restaurants, for the price we paid, I thought the quality of food was poor, and so was the service. complimentary poppadoms were given to only certain guests. We didn't certianly recieve any, We were asked for drinks 10 minutes or so later after being seated, | understand the restaurant was busy, but the management should have had staff to cater for it, I'm a sea food eater, I was dissapointed with the tanddori fish, it seemed to be contaminated to me, I approached the waiter about it. It certainly wasn't fresh. As for the main, the fish dish I asked for was not what was described on the menu, |t was battered fish, I would never visit this restaurant again.
I was pleasantly surprised with the renovations at Jewel of India as I had not gone back for over a year. What an amazing change! And glorious food! Must make special mention of a very elegantly designed menu which has useful tips on the cuisine.
