A great creative space at Izakaya that looks like a fair bit of money was spent on it hence the dishes – very small and very expensive. A tiny dish of chicken teriyaki which is supposedly a main came with a couple of vege pieces and alas no rice for $18. Any smaller dishes you could inhale and not much cheaper.

I was excited for this place to open so close to my work but am dubious about visiting the sister restaurant next door – teppanyaki, because I fear I’d get the same non-value. A very expensive lunch!

Can I suggest they drop the prices a little or include rice so that you have something to fill your tummy, otherwise you’ll find yourself heading to the closest burger bar for an extended lunch.

I won’t be back unless something drastically changes. I prefer Tanuki’s or Kura just around the corner – way better value for money and something to get excited about.
