We were really impressed with Ivy. The service was friendly and the staff were easy to talk to. The food was awesome. I'm a fanatic for squid and theirs was one of the best I've tasted. The Seafood platter was very impressive. The food was cooked to perfection and there was plenty for 2 people. For the price it is value for money. Best value, best platter we have ever had. It is also across the road from the train station and easy parking. The experience exceeded our expectations. We will be back...
With new management, the feel of the Ivy has changed for the better, with wonderful, and friendly bar/wait staff. The food is all made by their new Chef and is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deserts are made on-site by the same wonderful person and are to die for............yum yum. Highly recommend
My partner and I went to Ivy Restaurant & Bar last Sunday for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a large bar, I imagine it is a really great place to come for a drink on a Saturday night. We ordered hash browns and eggs florentine both of which were really delicious as was the coffee. I got a bit confused when I ordered and they happily exchanged my potato cakes for toast at no extra charge. Reasonably priced and we will definately go back
Visited the Ivy in Kingsland on Sunday, at around 1pm. The food was great and we all received our plates within 2 minutes maximum. Ok, the waitress was a little bit unfriendly, but all in all, I can only recommend The Ivy!
Unfortunately we were not impressed with Ivy this morning! We went there a few times when it was still called "Pulse" and they had the best fries and aioli in the whole city. Now? We rang and booked our table for 10, were the only people in the whole place. Our food came out in three stages, with about a 12 minute delay between the first plates and the last. Despite this, my food was still cold when they brought it out. When I complained, the waitress said "oh, well we don't have a very big kitchen". Didn't even offer an apology. So - don't go here if there's more than 3 of you!
