We LOVE Island Thyme! we live on Waiheke and have some "world class" vineyard restaurants to choose from, but if anyone asks me where I recommend for dinner I will always say without hesitation, Island Thyme. I have a standard by which I judge dining out - is it as good or better than I can cook at home (if not I won't return) - these guys are waay over and above! My daughter and I had a religious experience with a dessert last time we came, the deli downstairs is delicious and the coffee is the best on the island - they are doing RWC hampers - so if you need a feed for a crowd, don't hesitate!
