Went to a friends the other night and decided to get takeout for dinner. She told me about this place she always goes and said I should try. So we called hansan vietnamese! It was delicious and I cannot stop raving about the dessert option, I forget the name, but like apple pies in spring roll pastry with icing sugar. Delicious. I'd travel from ponsonby just to get them any night!
We had a large group so had booked - and thankfully as Hansan Vietnamese was rather busy! Great price for mains. Bit disappointed we couldn't add extra veges to a dish when we asked (not even available as a side). Not sure if Hansan Vietnamese was very authentic, but again can't complain too much for the price. Overall would recommend for something a bit different on a budget.
Well, where should I start? Well, this review in a nutshell? Amazingly tasty and value for money.The layout of the restaurant isn't that good but it's sufficent. We had to wait a while has the place was packed out (Sunday night at 6:30). The communication between us and the staff wasn't that great, however.There was 7 us in our party, and we had to merge two tables together and they were a little reluctant.However, we sat and ordered. I ordered a Pork Stir Fry on Vermicelli. It came very fast and was piping hot excellent. Another order was so hot, the waitress couldn't take it off the tray to give it to us, so we had to burn ourselves, oh well.The stirfry was very nice and tasty and was filling all this for $9.90. The prices were very cheap and the food was amazing.All in all, it was simply one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time.
