Although this restaurant has been in Panmure for many years, it was the first time I have been here. I came with a large group of friends with their families. I found the menu had a large variety to choose from, so catered well for our big group's different tastes. It was a little difficult getting the attention of the waitress at one point when we wanted to ask about dessert, but I enjoyed my value-for-money meal and look forward to coming back to try something else!

It seemed that a visit to Hansan in Panmure, one of a chain of four Vietnamese restaurants sprinkled around the city, would be a good way to rekindle memories. A fresh clean more modern version of the old restaurant which was next door, with a nice water feature greeting you when you come in.

I began with Vietnamese-style crispy spring rolls in crunchy lettuce leaves with a light tangy chilli dressing.

For mains we had bowls, my friend had a soup with chicken and noodles and I had a salad with crispy pork and noodles topped with nuts and a sweet chilli sauce.

Great generous portions at a cheap price - $17 for 2 courses. Quick service and I love the menu that has a picture next to every description just as it always did.

Its a great place to nip to for a quick reasonably healthy eat out meal I'd go to regularly.

After having spent some time in Vietnam in 2012, I was looking forward to taking my Vietnamese guests to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant after they had been away from their home for 3 weeks. What an unpleasant experience Hansan provided. Firstly, there was no authentic Vietnamese food on the menu, it was all Chinese and secondly, one of the staff actually threw her order pad at our table and clearly was unimpressed that some of our guests could speak Vietnamese and they couldn't. When our order came, we were missing some aspects and when we finally were able to attract the attention of a waiter, long enough to tell them we had some more courses that were supposed to be there, they just gave us a filthy look and walked off. After half an hour of waiting for our missing courses, we paid for what we had had and left, never to return. Nothing short of appalling.

They have relocated, still in Panmure, just a few steps from the old one. New place and serves the same affordable yet filling Vietnamese food. Love the deep fried spring rolls and the Traffic light dessert is a family favourite!

Absolutely love Hansan Vietnamese Restaurant. Not only do they do takeaway's but they are a very family friendly place, but if you want a more intimate setting they can cater for you also. We have this at least twice a week. If you like to try different things at an inexpensive price and have it taste just as delicious as the expensive stuff then this is the place to come. Sadly we have just learned Hansan Vietnamese Restaurant will be moving shortly we just hope it doesn't move too far away.

Win a gold medal for value for money...won't win anything for decor...fabulously inexpensive ethnic food...if you enjoy vietnamese food you'll be hard pressed to find better..and it won't cost you an arm or a leg either. Highly recommended

Hansan Vietnam Restaurant is a huge place - loads of seats. But, if you want lunch on a weekday must go early! Very nice food if you like Vietnamese.
