Had my first experience of Grano today and must say it won't be the last. The first thing that struck me was the friendliness of the staff - what a welcome surprise.
Food and coffee were really good. I dont often head to Mt Eden but Grano might just be the excuse I need for more visits. Thanks guys.

working in the Mt Eden area, Grano has become my home away from home since it opened it's doors.
Quite a cool venue (but it doesn't have the 'tude that you'd probably expect (especially if it was located in Ponsonby/Britomart etc), Grano has counter food that is divine. Take my advice and try the advo and bacon sammy...yummy!

Had read about Grano in Wednesday's Herald so with clients in the area thought it would be well worth a visit.
Grano is a lovely sunny spot and the staff are certainly enthusiastic, coffee good and the asparagus tart which was recommended was fantastic. I think these clients will be getting a few more visits over the coming weekends somehow!
