WOW! if you LOVE chocolate, GPK Takapuna's Chocolate Decadence dessert was Amazing and well worth trying! In fact, it was one of the most delicious desserts I have ever eaten.
It's like the old favourite that keeps on giving. Once again we headed to GPK for a birthday dinner, it's been a tradition for about 5 years. And as always we weren't disappointed, the food was really lovely, fresh and delicious. The service was very good and our waitress was super friendly and attentive. See you again next year GPK!
A group of us girls had a catch up in Takapuna recently and were disappointed with the variety of bars. We were hard pressed to find something that carried a decent selection of wine and had a comfortable surroundings to relax in. We stumbled upon GPK and spent a good few hours in the bar just chatting and enjoying the great by-the-glass wine. The bar is modern with moody lighting and the music is not overbearing. The guy on the bar was also helpful and friendly. Would recommend GPK for a relaxing drink.
We have eaten 2 times at GPK ponsonby and thought the service and food would be the same standard but it wasnt.
Service slow - waited 45 mins for Brunch when the restaurant was pretty quiet. Food was extremely dissappointing. About a heaped tablespoon of bacon on pancakes and 1/2 a banana on 3 dry thick pancakes. Spanish omlette was a plain omlette with cold sliced potatoe and raw capsicum and yellow bits of salad on top. Not what the menu had described at all. We phoned the next day to say how dissapointed we were as we had taken friends there for brunch and they did nothing to put it right . Wont go there again.
Let it be known that fire wont stop the reappearance of a GPK! Back and better then ever GPK on Hurstmere Road in Takapuna is the place to stop. Offering a broad range of meal selections and beverages.

I love coming to GPK for a drink and some of their yummy bar snacks. The staff are always really nice and the pizza, if you decide to stay for a meal, is really tasty without being too stodgy.
Dined at GPK on was seemed to be a relatively quiet Saturday night. Food was good as always. The chicken burger is always a pleaser. Unfortunately, the service was really lacking. We waited 15 minutes before someone came and took our drinks order and our food took over 30 minutes to arrive. Despite that, staff were attentive once we had our meals.
Been to GPK in Takapuna a couple of times with work colleagues. Good wine list and reliable service. Enjoyed a pizza and a few tapas -- GPK comes highly recommended!
