there's so many good cafes operating in the Dominion Road but Gingerbirds Kitchen is well up there as far as I'm concerned. I've been at least once a fortnight for the last few months and am addicted. Coffee is always nice and strong but the salads are the reason I keep coming back - particularly the Caesar. Gingerbirds Kitchen comes highly recommended.

yummo - discovered Gingerbirds Kitchen quite by chance last week (actually - truth be known I got lost) - wee gem of a place along Dominion Road. Coffee was terrific and much needed, and the caramelised onion bread was great. As a sneaky treat I invested in the ginger slice - a bit too sweet for my liking but on reflection, the Gingerbirds Kitchen was entirely a good one. Welcome to Mt Eden!
